Lemuria and Atlantis

Shirley Andrews says that the evidence for past civilizations in both the Atlantic and Pacific is so overwhelming that we should look beyond basic questions and ask ourselves: why did they disappear and what is their message for us now.

Much as a Like Melanie's deck, I really like Robin's pages. So I thought I would feature Robin's Page of Pentacles. Its a lovely card isn't it. The way the Pentacle in the little girls hands, sits like the sun just over the horizon. Now nothing in Robin's deck this significant is accidental. So one must believe, that she is tying the energies of the sun, and the sun card into the page.

It was just a few cards ago we considered the Ace of Pentacles. I was musing about how the figure looked pregnant, Gaia brining new life into the world. Robins image could very well be her daughter. Lovely little thing. The deep brown of her robe, and the rich blackness of her hair. Resonates with the richness of the earth. The little smile an elegant and understated vision full of the joy of life. The figure stands on lovely green hills. (Sense like this always remind me of England, it truly is a green and pleasant land.)

She has the energy of a child, but I see her as a quite one. The sort of girl who would rather sit under the shade of that tree, than race through those fields. Just as she stands with the Pentacle in her hands admiring the beauty of that golden star. A girl with dreams and day dreams, but enough of the light of the sun in her to bring her dreams into the world.

A girl you can see beside her daddy in his woodshop, watching him make doll furniture, and learning to make it herself. Can't you just see them, him lifting her off the floor rubbing her button nose against his, after she makes her first little chair with her own hands.

Well that's how I see her, a girl who will grow up with her skills in her hands. She'll wander every inch of those hills, and fill them with the music of her singing. She'll know every root, and flower that grows, and its uses. She'll have puppies and kittens and animals will just gather to her, drawn by the glow of her heart. Things will just grow around her till their ever So Big. She love soft things much more than fine ones, and those puppies will never want for a cuddle. She'll be a wiz in the kitchen, and love fried chicken. Partly for its golden color, but mostly because you eat it with your fingers! She'll help Momma raise her brothers and sisters till she has litt'ns of her own. And she'll grow into as a fine woman, as the world has ever known.

Divination: Deep Concentration, Scholarship, News, Bringer of Messages, A young person who makes the seeker proud. A careful child.

Reversed: Bad News, delinquency, illogical thoughts, wastefullness.
